About Pastor Matt

In 1979, Pastor Matt was born in San Leandro, CA. His Christian mother raised him in a single home. He was first saved as a child and during his childhood, he knew that the Lord had placed a heavy calling on his life. Once the teenage years came along, he turned away from the Lord.

No matter how much sin he was involved in; he remembered that he had been called by God. At the age of 18, he found himself at the end of his rope and his mother had recently relocated to Missouri for her job. He spent 3 months visiting with her, and at that time he was prophesied over. Immediately, all addiction was broken and he returned to the Lord.

Pastor Matt returned to California a changed man. He made the choice to serve the Lord with all his being. God began to separate Pastor Matt for Himself. This led him to leave his old life behind, as well as his friends. As the Lord continued to work in his life, he was involved in the college-aged ministry, His Generation. He later began to work with the youth as a youth leader. A few years later, he was placed as Jr. High Youth Pastor. Easter Sunday of 2003, Pastor Matt fulfilled his calling as he took on responsibility of Youth Pastor at Faith Fellowship.
